Bookseller. Abramson was the proprietor of the Argus Bookstore in Chicago, dealing in both rare and current books. He was also the editor and publisher of Reading and collecting; a monthly review of rare and recent books.

Included is a file of Abramson's correspondence (L-Z only), 1930-1940, with authors, illustrators, and bookmen. Norman Lindsay, Don Mullally, George Jean Nathan, Edward A. Newton, Einar O'Duffy, Mari Sandoz, Gilbert Seldes, Paul Selver, Upton Sinclair, Frank Swinnerton, Tiffany Thayer, Alice B. Toklas, and Louis Zara are among the correspondents.
